Sweet family session is the best way to describe this evening session

“Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale.”

This quote really reminds me of Sarlung and Chris and the beautiful images below truly capture this amazing couple and their sweet family.

This love story started in an unlikely place, Sarlung and Chris fell in love in Kansas. What makes this unlikely is not that they met in Kansas per se, but that neither of them is actually from there; they’re BOTH from Pennsylvania!

Now what are the odds of that?

Chris was there for work and Sarlung was there with her sister and they happened to meet in a so far from home! And that’s the abbreviated version of how this sweet family was formed.

This just makes me so giddy for them because it demonstrates what my grandmother always said about life,

“Lo que es para ti, te encuentra” Which means, “What is meant for you, will find you.”

Well, after nearly 10 years together, I would definitely say that this marriage, their sweet family, and all of their joy was meant for them!

I met Sarlung (like many of my amazing friends); through Elijah! The boys became fast friends and Elijah was soon asking for playdates as often as possible.

Sarlung currently works at the Elementary school which in my book, basically makes her a saint! While Chris is currently in the military which is what brought them all the way to Hawaii.

We had discussed their family photo session for a while and I was so excited when they booked it. It was my first time meeting Chris and their dog but they were all so kind and fun. The day of their family photo session, we just had such a great time!

I had so much fun photographing your sweet family and loved capturing you guys in a place that you all love! Thank you so much for trusting me with your precious family memories and allowing me to stop time for you guys! It was such a gift to be able to spend some time with the three of you and see how wonderful your family is.
