Family of 6 Oahu Photo Session in Ewa Beach

After years of living in Samoa, Lydia and Vincent recently moved to Hawaii and it was so incredible to meet this beautiful couple and their 4 gorgeous children! I was so thrilled to meet her and photograph a family that’s as large as mine! Lydia and Vincent have spent nearly 8 years together and enjoy going to the beach, pool, and playgrounds with their sweet family. Their kids are so cute and I truly enjoyed meeting and chatting with all of them! As for the photos that we captured, I am seriously over the moon with them and their fun and easy-going spirit truly came through in the images we created!

The day of their photo session is one that I’ll always remember! We had chosen a beach weeks in advance and on the day of the session we discovered (much to our dismay) that the community was have a huge event with ice cream vendors AND inflatable bounce houses AND a water slide! You haven’t lived until you’ve had 4 children under the age of 6 within 100 feet of a festival that they couldn’t partake in! Thankfully, Lydia and Vincent are amazing and we were able to capture some beautiful photos while also letting the older kids take a little break halfway through the session so that I could photograph Lydia and their sweet baby. It’s moments like these where I’m especially thankful for fun and flexible clients that pair up perfectly with my own experience as a mom of 4 to keep the photo session fun and relaxed while bribing the kids with chips and candy!

Vincent and Lydia,

It was so incredible to meet your family and I honestly had so much fun spending time with you guys! Also, ending a photo session with a cold beer is the new recommendation that i’ll be making to all of my clients! LOL! Your children are so beautiful and it was such a blessing to capture them being themselves. The photo of your baby girl crying may be one of my favorite photos ever! I’ll never forget the nap that never was and watching your boys practice putting their hands in their pockets! I know all too well that time goes by so quickly and I hope that these images are a daily reminder of how amazing you guys are! I’m also really happy that we were able to take these photos in Ewa Beach (even if they were so inconsiderate and had the “Eat the Street” event on the same night! LOL!) because the lighting, sand, and proximity were perfect for your family! Thank you so much for choosing me to document this precious time in your lives and for trusting me to preserve your families memories!
