It’s been almost 2 years since they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony with a handful of loved ones to bear witness. Since then, Andrew and Brooke have made a beautiful home with their sweet pup here in Hawaii and while Andrew has a really interesting job in the Army, Brooke is a small-business owner with more creativity and interests than anyone I’ve ever met!
When the idea of a photo session first came up, Brooke had so many options because she basically knows every part of Oahu as the owner of Paradise Photo Bus and thus, the options were almost too good! She decided on hiking for a sunrise session in Lanikai and because I adore her and she is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, I agreed to wake up at 4:30am…for a HIKE…and to capture this couples first photo session, which, I must say, was such a privilege. Luckily, the morning was gorgeous, the other hikers were incredibly kind, and I didn’t fall off the side of a cliff (which was a true fear! LOL!) All in all, it was a good day 🙂

You are both so wonderful and the reason why I love photographing married couples so much! I am so excited that you guys were willing to hike to a location and follow that up with a beach session! This gown was incredible and literally every photographers dream!!!! Meeting you two has been such a blessing and I’ll say it again, out loud, to the internet: Brooke, you’re absolutely brilliant and incredible and I cannot believe I’m lucky enough to call you my friend!
