Relaxed and Fun Beaufort, SC Maternity Session

Why is this a very special Maternity Session?

Because this gorgeous mom-to-be is none other than my sister! The amazing dad-to-be is my brother!

Okay, so I’ve been meaning to post this maternity session FOREVER now! LOL! But being an auntie has been such a beautiful experience and I’m madly in love with my baby nephew (to the point of choosing to move my 4 kids to Beaufort, SC)!

Believe it or not, we were running behind on this day so this entire session took place in about 20 minutes! Thankfully, because she’s my sister, I didn’t mind rushing her! haha!

So, I’ll be sharing photos from his Fresh 48 session and mini newborn session soon but if you’re curious what a maternity session looks like, I’m so excited to share this with you!

3 Tips for a great Maternity Session

  • Bring a towel! You might get splashed (or your photographer may ask you to get in the water!).
  • Grab a snack and some water. You may get a bit tired and we want to keep mama well fed and hydrated.
  • Go pro for Hair and Makeup. It makes a huge difference and it’s probably the only time you’ll have such special images taken of this incredible journey. Do it up!

“A mother’s joy begins when new life is stirring inside; when a tiny heartbeat is heard for the first time, and a playful kick reminds her that she is never alone.” –  Unknown

I’d also love to give a huge shoutout to my brother-in-law Clay who not only took great care of my sister while she was expecting but took direction very well for this sweet session!

I’d love to talk more and plan something really special for you. Please keep in mind, I always recommend maternity sessions for 28-34 weeks. Sometimes babies come a little bit early so I err on the side of caution here!
