Palmetto Dunes in Hilton Head, SC is such a great place to spend a vacation as a family. One great thing about this area is that palmetto dunes vacation rentals are perfect for large families and the perfect way to share a trip with grandparents, grand babies, and everyone in between!

Susan contacted me a few months ago before she came down for a beautiful vacation with her husband of 44 years! Along with their 3 kind daughters, their son-in-laws, and 4 sweet grand babies were spending the holiday season in the beautiful Palmetto Dunes oceanfront resort which is a truly special place.

One of the best things about staying in Palmetto Dunes is how many Airbnb Vacation Rentals are available! As a mom of four, I always appreciate the ability to cook breakfasts, keep snacks handy, and this amazing family even has a pool in their backyard!

Ever since I moved to the Lowcountry, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity photograph what I call “Extended Family Sessions”. These typically consist of parents with their adult children, their spouses, and all the sweet grandkids. It’s my favorite because everyone is able to take little breaks like this family did. You’d never guess it but in between sessions, the lovely parents of these kiddos were able to head back into the house and get out of the unexpected cold front we had during their stay here.

Another fun thing about this super sweet family is how laidback and fun they are. It’s always so special to create images of kids playing, parents laughing, and grandparents being in awe of the new additions to the family tree.
