Luxury Alaska Elopement With Helicopter. Part 1

This Alaska Elopement was EVERYTHING!

Have you ever had one of those moments that felt like a dream? A day that felt straight out of a fairy-tale and you were waiting for someone to wake you up and tell you that it’s just too good? Well friends, that’s exactly how I felt on the day that I photographed this Luxury Alaska Elopement Shoot. The fact that Kat and James are so nice and stunning on top of everything else?

Well that was the icing on the cake!

We actually started the photographs at around 4pm on this day and because we were there during the “daytime” portion of the year, we had fantastic light and didn’t wrap things up until 11:00pm! Talk about a late-night-daytime shoot!

I just couldn’t believe what time it was when we were done and how late it was but you just can’t feel that in Alaska when the sun is still shining.

Being here was one of my greatest privileges and I must say, I fell in love with Alaska during this trip. I think the vast open spaces, kind people, delicious food (which is clearly a massively important part of any trip) had me pinching myself.

I loved this Alaska Elopement so much that I promised to go back with my family at some point and although our trip keeps being pushed back, I know that it will be worth it once we’re finally on the open road and skies again!
